The maker's mark

The passage carries an I.

Igata is the mark that stands behind a family of brands: seen by partners, lawyers and engineers, and never on a customer's screen. This page is the mark in full, with its files.

01 / A maker's mark with an initial

Two fitted halves. One open channel.

The space between two fitted sections opens into the first letter of Igata. It keeps the casting idea and gives the orchestration path a connection to the name.

The I is the empty space between the two parts.

The name / Unchanged wordmark

IBM Plex Sans Medium keeps the name direct and readable, while the initial in the symbol gives it a second point of recognition.

AI workflow & orchestration

The technical descriptor sits outside the mark when context calls for it; formal documents use the plain Igata lockup.

Two fitted halves

The square keeps the foundry character of Passage and its sense of a stable shared system.

One open channel

The channel forms a capital I and remains two units wide on a 16-unit canvas.

A matched pair

A half-turn exchanges the two identical parts, connecting the mould with what it makes.

02 / The colours

Foundry, Brass and Paper.

Deep green gives the platform its weight, warm paper keeps documents clear, and brass marks small points of emphasis. Every value below is read from the brand file.

Use Brass text on Paper only; links on dark ground use Paper.

Every documented text pair meets WCAG AA; the tokens carry the light and dark surface roles and the full contrast ratios.

03 / Small by design

The same mark at every size.

Two filled paths, square corners and a two-unit minimum feature keep the mark fit for an avatar, a document margin or a repository header.

04 / The files

Ready to use.

The files keep one geometry across single-colour, monochrome and reversed applications. The avatar adds room for a circular crop. Every raster is rendered from the SVG sources by the build.

Use on the platform company's own surfaces: this site, the repository, engineering documents, licence schedules and private staging.

Keep Igata off customer screens, and replace the staging placeholder before a customer sees a deployment.

On a licence schedule, give the deployment brand and the platform licensor separate labelled blocks, with Igata at most half the customer's visible height.

Keep the geometry upright and the production mark in one colour; the coloured I is a construction overlay only.
